Laser Cut Boxes

Elmwood Electronics has stopped accepting orders. This product might be available at PiShop.ca. Please check this blog post about our recent team merger.

Provide us with an SVG file via email and we can laser cut a box for you!  We recommend using MakerCase.  You can then customize as necessary in Inkscape or any other tool that works with SVG files.

Small:  190mm x 140mm max

Medium:  280mm x 390mm max

Large:  270mm x 480mm max

Available in the following materials:

  • 3mm birch (lower grade, may show burn marks).  Only available in Small and Medium.
  • 1/8" (3.2mm) maple plywood (high quality, will not show burn marks)
  • 1/8" clear acrylic
  • 1/8" black acrylic
  • 1/8" blue acrylic

Please keep in mind that gluing acrylics can be tricky.  It is much easier to glue wood, even regular white glue works great.  We are not responsible for building your box, we will just give you the laser cut pieces.  We are also not responsible for proofing your files.  Please check the dimensions of your file prior to sending them to us.
