The brushed motor is the most widely used motor because of its ease of operation. Just connect the two terminals to a DC power supply, and the motor will start rotating!
But if you want to control the speed and direction, you will need a micro-controller. That's where the MD13S comes in. It's one of the easiest to use brushed motor drivers!
The MD13S offer current protection that the MD10C does not. With new circuitry and design, The MD13S is able to limit and support current up to 30A max(10 seconds). You can run continuous current at 13A without a heatsink (at room a temperature of 25°C).
It's also GROVE compatible, so get yourself a Grove shield. The MD13S is also smaller than a MD10C!
