ARE YOU READY FOR A CHALLENGE?
Are you ready to make the world a better place, using just a micro:bit and the incredible power of your imagination? If you’re aged 8-12 years – or you know someone who is – the micro:bit Global Challenge is the perfect opportunity to do just that!
This exciting new coding challenge – brought to you by the Micro:bit Educational Foundation, Arm and the World’s Largest Lesson – aims to inspire young people to solve real-world problems in support of the UN’s Global Goals, focusing on health, wellbeing and safety.
Whether it’s a new idea to encourage people to get active, or a great way to promote safety on the journey to school, the goal is to use a micro:bit to design and create something that will really make a difference.
Entries are welcome from anywhere in the world. Six lucky winners will win an all-expenses paid trip to the Global Challenge grand finale in London, where they’ll work on some special micro:bit challenges and hear some inspirational speakers describe how every one of us can help achieve the Global Goals.
Even small changes can have a big impact, so fire up your creativity and take up the challenge!
