We rely on Canada Post everyday to ship packages in a reliable and efficient manner.
Yesterday, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers issued a 72 hour job action notice. Fortunately, it looks like the union is not going on a full "strike", instead they are taking job actions such as refusing to work overtime. CUPW President Mike Palecek has publicly stated that they want the public to keep receiving their mail. For our customers, this means that you can continue to select Canada Post as your shipping method for the time being. It is possible that there will be delays, but we do not expect them to be severe.
We hope that the CUPW and Canada Post can resolve their issues soon!
